The new season of the Central League is about to start on April 22nd. Nanjing City announced the squad for the tournament in their official blog today, which includes the likes of Mercy Pauli, Masika, Fu Huan, Nie Aoshuang, China's Taiwan player Yin Yagi and new foreigner Jefferson.
Last season, Nanjing ranked eighth in the China First Division with 14 wins, 8 draws, 12 losses and 50 points. They are determined to bring in a number of new recruits in preparation for the new season, including Fu Huan on loan from Port, the official introduction of Huang Zhenfei, Duan Yunzi from Wuhan Sanzhen, and former Wuhan Changjiang player Nie Aoshuang. Also joining the squad is experienced Chinese Super League (CSL) player Yin Yagi from Chinese Taipei, Bolivian striker Jefferson and former Chengdu Rongcheng goalkeeper Xing Yu in the transfer window.
