According to Spanish media outlet Relevo, Real Madrid have begun to consider center back Militang as an option at right back with Carvajal set to miss an extended period of time due to a serious injury.
On October 11, Beijing time, Real Madrid officially announced that 32-year-old Carvajal underwent surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee, and it is expected that he will be out of action for 8 to 10 months as a result.
