In the 4th round of the UEFA A League match played on October 16, Beijing time, Croatia and Poland
The match was a fierce duel, and finally shook hands with a score of 3-3. After the match, Croatian player Sučić was interviewed and shared his feelings and views on the match.
Sucic began by saying, "In the end, we can say that the result was justified or not. We started the game poorly and conceded a goal very quickly, which put us on the back foot. However, we didn't give up and instead, through a team effort, we scored three consecutive goals in the second half and took control of the game for a while. However, we conceded another goal before the end of the first half which kept the game in doubt till the end. Even though we were a player short in the last 20 minutes, we can still be satisfied with a point."
Speaking about the turning point in the match, Sučić mentioned Livaković's sending off: "I was concentrating on Budzimir's attack, and he went in single-handedly and posed a threat to our goal. When I turned around, I saw that the referee had shown Livakovic a red card. Livakovic said that he had been touched by an opposing player while clearing the ball, which led to excessive movement. I'm not sure of the exact situation, I'll have to look at the video to make a judgment. But either way, we need to face this reality and keep fighting with one player less."
Speaking about his goal, Sučić could not hide his joy: "I am very happy for this goal, honestly, at that time I was a bit overwhelmed. After the goal, I was so happy that I didn't even know what to do. Of course, I would have been even happier if we had won the game. But I can't lie, right now I also feel very satisfied and proud because of the goal."
In addition, Sučić added: "This game was a good exercise opportunity for us to show our team cohesion and fighting spirit against a strong opponent. Although we didn't win the game, the fighting spirit and spirit we showed in the game is worth recognizing. Next, we will continue to train hard to improve our technical and tactical levels and be well prepared for future matches."
