Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva was interviewed by Sport TV after the 0-0 draw away to Scotland in the 4th round of the UEFA Nations League group stage. He said frankly that the team lacked effort in this game, did not find the right time to attack, and did not show the intensity and attraction at key moments. Especially in the last few minutes of the game, the team looked for goals more on instinct than reason, which frustrated him. Bernardo Silva believes that the team could have done better.

On the subject of individual positions, Bernardo Silva said that his favorite position is midfield because he feels comfortable there and has been training to play that position all his life. Although he has been playing on the wing in recent years, he believes that it would be difficult for him to play that position in a team in transition, as his physical characteristics are not suited to it. However, he has also expressed a willingness to sacrifice his personal interests for the team and help out in any position that the coach feels is in the best interest of the team.

Bernardo Silva is confident when it comes to his team's prospects of advancing. He said that the team has two games left to secure the top spot in the group and that they want to qualify as well as the first place. He promised that they will be back in a month's time to give joy to the Portuguese and get to a stage where they can win another trophy.
