On March 26, Zhejiang general manager Jiao Fengbo talked about the club's investment and youth training in an interview with Soccer Night.
Jiao Fengbo said: "The fact that our business revenue should increase by 30% from China A to the Chinese Super League is a high demand on our investment department. In the end, the team worked hard to finish. This year is difficult. In this environment, this environment it is difficult to increase 30%, 90% in three years and build up year by year. Although we have about 30 sponsors in China, which is quite rare, when we go to Japan and Europe, there are 200 and 300 and some smaller sponsors, which affects us a lot.
Jiao Fengbo added: "If you invest 500 million yuan a year, investment sponsorship brings back less than 100 million yuan, less than 20%, can have 5-10%. Should be this data. But China has a lot. We also have industrial revenue, government investment, shareholder investment, divided into these big revenues. We also want to give sponsors more opportunities."
Talking about the club's investment in youth training, Jiao Fengbo said:Â "For example, if they go to Xinjiang to play matches, they need to spend our limited budget and training expenses in a more reasonable way. In the medium and long term, youth training accounts for about 15-20% of the club's total investment."
Talking about the club's independent development of players, Jiao Fengbo said: "In the past few years, the club requires our team to independently develop 50% of the players, these two years on the basis of this principle will be more detailed. For example, our 01-06 age group players, to be on our first-team registration list, about 10. Considering the business orientation, these 10 players will reduce the labor cost of our first team. If we bring in 10 players from outside, not counting transfer fees, pay them wages. Compared to these two scenarios, bringing in 10 players from outside will cost 3 times to 10 dollars more than if we develop 10 players on our own."
