A number of media members have revealed that last season's Central League One champions, Kunshan, are allegedly about to publicly announce their dissolution. One of them, Li Xuan, said that the Kunshan players are currently anxiously waiting for the news, but have been delayed in receiving any official notification.
If Kunshan eventually withdraws from the league, it will be the second team from Jiangsu province to exit the top flight in the last two years, the previous one being Super League champions Jiangsu Suning, who announced their dissolution in 2021.
