The Chinese men's national soccer team is currently training in Haikou. In a warm-up match on March 13, they took on Chinese Super League team Meizhou Hakka. The national team won 1-0 after Lin Liangming scored.
The latest training camp of the national soccer team officially opened on March 1 in Haikou. Newly appointed coach Jankovic had his first task, which was to lead the team to two friendly matches against the New Zealand national team on March 23rd and 26th. After nearly 10 days of training, the team started with an instructional match on March 10th. However, the game plan for the 10th was not to face other teams, but to divide the national soccer players into two groups for internal teaching matches. 13th afternoon, the first warm-up match of the national soccer team's training was played against Meizhou Hakka.
In this match, Lin Liangming helped the national team to take the lead in the 35th minute after receiving a cross from Wu Lei. In order to investigate the players further, national soccer coach Yankovic switched to a different lineup, but both sides failed to score in the second half, keeping it 1-0 until the end.
The national football team's training in Haikou will also come to an end after the warm-up match. According to the plan, the team will travel to Guangzhou on the afternoon of the 14th and play their last warm-up match there on the 16th before heading to New Zealand. Due to injuries and illnesses, Jiang Guangtai, Ren Hang and Liu Yiming will not be able to travel with the team to New Zealand for the match, but will return to their respective clubs for pre-season preparations.
