Mutalifu spoke about what it was like to play in the U20 Asian Cup in an interview on the Football Night show.
"We gave the fans a completely different state of mind," said Mutalifu. After the U20 Asian Cup final, they have a new view of our team and they think we can play defensive counter-attacks. There is still a gap between us and the strongest teams in Asia, but we can make up for our shortcomings with skill and tactics."
Mutalifu still regrets not fighting with the team until the very end, "The truth is that I have a mixed heart, I wanted to play but my body reached its limit, so I was very uncomfortable.""
