reached a partnership agreement to use eFootball as a platform to continue organizing the
FIFAe World Cup Championship
Konami officially announced that from October 10th, FIFAe World Cup qualification tournament will be held on console and mobile eFootball with 18 countries and regions participating, namely Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, England, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand and Turkey. Konami's partnership with FIFA is designed to enhance the enjoyment of the global soccer community through e-sports, allowing athletes to represent their countries and regions, and raising the level of community connection.
Konami has always challenged the development of soccer simulation and gaming games, and the cooperation with FIFA can contribute to the promotion of new dimensions of soccer games," said Yasuharu Kobayashi, Konami's executive officer.
