The shortlist to replace Ten Hagar features former Borussia Dortmund manager
Terzić (name)
German Terzić resigned in a surprise move after leading Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last season. He has a number of admirers within Old Trafford and it would be a smart and surprising move for United to opt for Terzić if they sack the much-maligned Ten Hagar.
Terzić, 41, qualified as a coach in England, having served as Bilic's deputy at West Ham United and is friends with Graham Potter, another United target. Before leaving Dortmund in June, he was in charge of the team that topped the German league.
United are currently considering Templar's reign, with England-based managers like Potter and Southgate in their thoughts, as well as former Chelsea and ex-Bayern Munich boss Tuchel. In addition, promoting club legend and current assistant manager, Ruud van Nie, is also a possibility.
United are currently 14th in the Premier League and the club's top brass held a seven-hour summit in London last Tuesday to discuss Ten Hagar's future. The 54-year-old is on a short holiday and believes he will still be in charge for Saturday's game against Brentford.
