Henry married British model Nicole Merry on July 5, 2003, having met while filming a Renault commercial. The marriage ceremony took place at Highclere Castle and on May 27, 2005, the couple gave birth to their first daughter, Tia. After the birth of their daughter, Henry scored a goal against Newcastle United and then made the "T" sign with his fingers to dedicate the goal to his daughter. When Henry was still at Arsenal, he spent £5.95 million on a six-bedroom villa in Hampstead, North London. However, shortly after joining Barcelona, he announced his divorce from Murray; a decree nisi was granted in September 2007, and in 2008 a court ordered Henry to pay Murray over £10 million in alimony. Henry is currently dating Bosnian model Andrea Najce.
Henry is also a fan of the NBA and sometimes watches his compatriot and close friend Tony Parker when he is not playing.
