Every summer, Guardiola wants the opposition to not know us 100% and always tries to adjust things. It depends on the characteristics of the players so that everyone can play to their strengths on the pitch and contribute in the best way possible. I think that's what makes him the best coach in the world, because he sees things that others don't and is able to transfer those abilities to the pitch in the best way possible."
Gündoğan also spoke about connecting with those teammates who joined while he was away, "For me, I want to connect with the players who joined when I left last year. It's easier to play with players I've already played with, but with new teammates like Kovacic, Gwadior, Nunes, I want to know how they move and express themselves on the pitch. I like to watch and analyze them and then adapt to them in the best way possible so we can help each other to get better and contribute to each other. It wasn't quite that way on the first day, but I think it's going well so far and it's going to get better."
