In the 6th round of the Italian top flight, Bologna and Atalanta had a fierce battle at home. In the first half, both sides failed to break the deadlock, showing an even situation on the field. However, the second half was full of drama.

In the 46th minute, Bologna had a chance to break the deadlock. N'Doye sent a precise assist from the left side of the field, and Castro quickly stepped in and calmly shot the ball into the net in front of the goalkeeper, giving Bologna a 1-0 lead. The goal opened the door to victory for Bologna and ignited the passion of the home fans.

However, Bologna's lead did not last long. In the 52nd minute, Lucumi committed a foul on defense and the referee initially showed a yellow card. However, after a reminder from the VAR (Video Assistant Referee), the referee changed the decision to a straight red and sent off Lucumi. This penalty put Bologna in a passive position and they had to play with fewer players for the rest of the match.

Despite facing a numerical disadvantage, Bologna did not give up. They kept the score until the end of the match with their tenacity and excellent defense. However, Atalanta did not give up the chance to equalize. In the 90th minute, Samardzic suddenly took a shot from outside the penalty area, and the ball cut through a wonderful arc and went straight to the corner of the goal. Atlanta equalized the score, 1-1!

The equalizer gave Atalanta hope for an equalizer and a sense of regret to the Bologna home fans. In the end, the two sides shook hands 1-1 in a close game.
