Terry is a former English footballer who played as a center back and is now an advisor to the youth academy of English Premier League club Chelsea and a former assistant coach at English Premier League club Aston Villa.
He played for Chelsea in the English Premier League and Aston Villa in the English Championship. He was captain of the England national soccer team and is recognized as the world's greatest defender.
Terry was named the best defender in the Champions League in 2005 and 2008. In the 2006 World Cup, he was the only England player to be named in the All-Star team. Also one of the best English superstars in world football.
Terry is the most successful captain in Chelsea's history, having led them to five English Premier League titles, five FA Cups and three League Cups since 2004. He is one of the players to have made over 450 appearances for Chelsea and has scored the most goals of any Chelsea defender.
