Lampard comes from a famous soccer family. Both his father Lampard Sr. and his aunt Harry Redknapp have played for England. Lampard Sr. played 660 games for West Ham United, while aunt Harry Redknapp had a long career managing the team. Lampard's cousin Jamie Redknapp has played 17 games for England and has also played for clubs such as Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Bournemouth.
Lampard had an autobiography out in August 2006 called Totally Frank.
Lampard and Elen Rivas have two daughters, Luna Coco Patricia (born August 22, 2005) and Isla (born May 20, 2007).In mid-February 2009, Lampard and Elen split up.
