In an interview with Hayters TV, Italian footballer Zola spoke highly of Federico Chiesa, who joined Liverpool in the summer window this year, and believes he can shine in the Premier League while having a chance to return to the Italian national team.
Zola said: "For Chiesa, joining Liverpool is undoubtedly a great opportunity for him to return to the Italian team. The Premier League is a great experience for every player, and I've had that experience too. The soccer environment and the quality of the game in the Premier League are very high, which may both bring pressure to Chiesa and inspire him to work harder to improve himself."
Zola further pointed out, "Liverpool have a lot of good strikers in their team, and the competition in the forward line is quite fierce. But despite this, I firmly believe that Chiesa will get enough chances and time to play. The key lies in how wisely he utilizes these opportunities, and I believe he will gradually improve his position in the pecking order and show his strength in the Premier League."
Zola is excited about Chiesa's future and believes he is fully capable of getting a foothold in the Premier League and suiting up again for the Italian national team.
