February 12, in the 2023 National Futsal Championship three-four matches, Xinjiang Jinghong 5:4 victory over Shenzhen Nanling Ironwolf 2022 Futsal Champions, won the third place, creating the best record in the history of Xinjiang!
Since 2015, the Xinjiang Normal University soccer team has been participating in national futsal competitions. As of December 2022, Xinjiang has contributed nine international players, all university students, to the Chinese Futsal National Team.
In 2022, with the full support of the Xinjiang Football Association, Xinjiang Jinghong Football Club, with the original team from Xinjiang Normal University as its team, set the best record of seventh place in history in the Futsal Premier League. Two months later, they once again rewrote the best record for Xinjiang futsal in a national competition.
