In last season's Chinese Super League, many clubs were banned by FIFA for non-payment of wages. Shanghai Shenhua and Dalian Ren used to only be able to play in full or quasi-full Chinese teams, and the CFA actually suffered many lawsuit defeats, including former women's soccer head coach Bruno's wage demands. Clearly, Chinese soccer still has obvious problems in its career!
The Daily News also pointed out that all four Chinese Super League teams have suffered crises of varying degrees this year, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dalian and Henan Songshan Longmen, and that the Chinese Football Association (CFA) may take a tougher stance this year to make it impossible for teams that default on their wages to gain access. Needless to say, the CFA's policies and other factors have brought depression to the Chinese Super League, which has lost its reputation for international soccer.
