On January 20, the Chinese women's national soccer team finished its training in Haikou. After a short break, the "Clanging Roses" will regroup on January 26th, and overseas training will start on February 10th. While the national team prepares for the Women's World Cup, the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Qualifying Tournament for the Paris Olympics, the domestic women's soccer team will continue to hold its annual matches as usual, and the annual schedule will not be affected too much.

On December 5 last year, the Chinese women's soccer team assembled in Haikou to prepare for the match until January 20th. The team had a short break during the Spring Festival and will concentrate again in Guangzhou on the fifth day of the Spring Festival (January 26th). According to the plan, the Chinese women's football team will leave for Spain on February 10th to officially start overseas training. During the training period in Spain, the "Clanging Roses" will have four high-quality warm-up matches, of which on February 16 and 22 will play with the Swedish women's football team and the Irish women's football team, and on February 14 and 19 will be competing with the La Liga clubs.

China's women's World Cup group stage opponents include England Women's Football Team and Denmark Women's Football Team, and February's warm-up matches against Sweden and Ireland are also very much on the cards. It is understood that while overseas players are not taking part in the national team's winter training in Haikou, some will travel to Spain from Feb. 13 to 25 for warm-up matches. The Chinese women's soccer team will return to China at the end of February to rest and go to Spain in April for warm-up matches. The Spanish Football Association has announced on Jan. 19 that it will play a warm-up match with the Chinese women's soccer team on April 11 in Ibiza.

In preparation for this year's three tournaments, the CCA will consider domestic women's soccer tournaments to maintain as effective a link as possible between the annual training of domestic women's soccer teams. It is understood that the National Women's Soccer Championship will remain the first of the year, and unlike in previous years, the 2023 full championship will be divided into two phases, with the first phase scheduled to take place during the adult women's soccer spring training period (January 28th to February 19th), and the second phase scheduled to take place from March 25th to 31st. The new Women's Premier League season will feature a home-and-away double-round-robin system and is scheduled to begin on March 4, while the Women's First Division will be divided into four phases, with the first phase taking place from May 6th to 19th. In addition, the Women's Football Association Cup will be held in mid-October.
