German soccer club Borussia Dortmund of the First Division is not currently considering Red Star Belgrade's 17-year-old youngster Andrija Maksimovic as its priority target for reinforcements, according to a report by Picture Post's Falck. Falck noted that Dortmund has no clear plans to bring in the Serbian starlet.

In contrast, reports suggest that Liverpool and a number of other clubs are showing more interest in Maksimovic. The youngster made history on International Match Day this month, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Serbian national team to make an appearance, further boosting his profile in European football.

Maksimovic's current contract with Red Star Belgrade runs until 2027, which means that any club looking to sign him will need to negotiate with Red Star Belgrade and may have to pay a hefty transfer fee. Nevertheless, his talent and potential continue to attract the attention of many of Europe's top clubs.

For Borussia Dortmund, although they have not prioritized Maksimovic as a target, they are likely to continue to monitor the youngster's development and make decisions in the future according to the team's needs and changes in the transfer market. Meanwhile, Liverpool and other clubs interested in Maksimovic will also be keeping a close eye on him with a view to successfully bringing in the Serbian starlet in the coming transfer window.
