Tang Jing: The team's playing style must be decided according to the composition of the team's personnel, technical characteristics and style. I want to build the team into a fast team in both offense and defense, which is also closer to the modern style of play. The team has been developing in this direction, but we still need to slowly improve and summarize along the way.
-Talking about FA Cup memories as a player
Jing Tang: I have come all the way to the FA Cup from my playing days to now. The FA Cup has left a deep impression on me. When I was playing for Jiangsu Suntian, I had a very good result in the FA Cup. The FA Cup is a very precious memory for players with a strong sense of involvement. I remember the first time I played in the FA Cup was when I played for Sichuan Guancheng. At that time, I was supposed to compete with Shandong Luneng for the title. Later, we lost and we won the second place. Although that match should be in 2005, I am still impressed. At that time, the ball market was very hot. After entering the final, the live game images and the atmosphere of the stadium helped a lot to improve the self-confidence of our players.
--Do you ever want to meet a traditional powerhouse?
TANG JING: The FA Cup is a knockout stage and teams have to want to go as far as possible. We're not saying we don't have this in mind, but I think we still need to have a clear understanding that, after all, we're playing all the way in a low-level league, and in the eyes of the outside world, we should be a dark horse. In terms of overall strength, team investment, personnel and other factors, there is still a big gap between us and the Super League teams, which is a very realistic situation. We can only say that we try our best and can go further.
-Talk about which team appreciates the CFL's style of play the most
Tang Jing: In my Chinese Super League, I think Shanghai Port played very well. Their players are very mature and do a good job in terms of tactical execution and overall offense and defense transition on the pitch.
--What team would most like to play?
TANG JING: Whichever CFL team will help our B-League team a lot. I'd like to help us practice with them if I can.
-Predicting the FA Cup winners
Tang Jing:The champion will be between Shandong Taishan and Shanghai Port. Both teams have the strength to win the championship, and both are veteran teams. Shandong Taishan has a very good record in the FA Cup over the years and the club attaches great importance to this tournament. In the end, Shanghai Port and Shandong Taishan have the best chance to win the FA Cup.
--Talking about the unknown
TANG JING: The FA Cup went all the way. Although we played very well, but we did pay a lot, overcame a lot of difficulties. First of all, our league game ended the earliest, and recently everyone in the team has taken turns to "yang over" and say it again. Our overall condition is not very good, injuries and personnel are not in order. To be honest, I'm very grateful to the players. The reason why I mentioned letting the players enjoy the FA Cup is just to not put too much pressure on them, and that's actually because the music department doesn't put too much pressure on me. I want the players to go on the pitch with a very calm attitude and not put too much burden on them.
-Is it a shame to stop at the last eight of the FA Cup?
Tang Jing: Overall, we still reflected our mental state of wanting to play well. But then again, we do have a certain gap with Zhejiang in terms of overall strength, especially at the early end of the league, the physical condition cannot be as good as it was in the league, so it affected the game.
-Talking about the gap between Chinese B and Chinese Super League full Chinese classes
Tang Jing: I remember the Yatai game. At that time, our league had just ended and the overall situation was good. Maybe every music department has different concerns about the cup, but in that game, Yatai also had a lot of veteran players to bring in the old and the new, and both of us played more intensely. In the end, our players were probably luckier and took a chance on the pitch. We made some mistakes in defense with Zhejiang, especially in the first round, but I would say that our key players were unable to help the team due to some physical reasons, and we basically relied on players who usually play fewer games to improvise the defense, which may have affected the overall defense on the pitch. But there's really no way around it, and as our captain Zhu Yifan said, it's good enough for the players to stand on the pitch and win in this situation.
