Chinese women's soccer star Wang Shanshan said in Haikou on Dec. 29 that she hopes to show the spirit of China's women's soccer team on the world stage and achieve good results.
After the signing conference of the cooperation between Lundy Group and China National Women's Football Team held in Haikou on the 28th, Wang Shanshan said. "It would be a lie to say that there is no pressure at all, but in general, just like what Director Shui (Shui Qingxia) said, we want to show the spirit of Chinese women's soccer on the world stage and achieve good results. I believe we will do our best and believe in this power and we will fight and struggle together."
The Women's World Cup will be held in New Zealand and Australia from July 20 to Aug. 20, 2023, with China in a group with the likes of UEFA EURO 2022 champions England and European powerhouse Denmark. The Hangzhou Asian Games are scheduled to be held from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8, 2023
Chinese women's soccer head coach Shui Qingxia said, China's women's soccer team with the strength of the motherland, the community's support and the efforts of the players, has achieved certain results, forged a series of efforts, never give up.
