By the end of 2021, the national soccer team is ranked 74th in the world and 8th in Asia.
The national soccer team dropped to 80th in the just-released 2022 year-end world rankings, down six places from a year ago, and 11th in Asia, dropping three places and being overtaken by Iraq, Oman and Uzbekistan.
