As the Barcelona General Assembly was coming to an end, club president Laporta delivered an important speech, in which he not only thanked all the people who had worked hard for the smooth running of the assembly, but also made special mention of young player Roque's outstanding performance against Osasuna, and expressed his expectations for Barcelona's next matches.
Laporta began by expressing his heartfelt thanks to all the staff and management of the club, "I would like to thank all the staff and management of the club, especially Focus for the props, as well as Odeo and Minsait, the platforms that made it possible for the voting to run smoothly. Your hard work ensured a successful convention."
Also, Laporta gave special thanks to Ana Aznar, head of the OAB, who was under a lot of pressure at the Congress: "I would especially like to thank Ana Aznar and your team, you were under a lot of pressure at the Congress, but you still ensured that the Congress ran smoothly with professionalism and efficiency. Congratulations to you all!"
Speaking about young player Roque, Laporta could not hide his joy: "Roque was named the best player in the match against Osasuna, which is a reflection of his individual ability and a recognition of our youth training system. I believe this will help him to score more goals and contribute more to the team in the upcoming matches."
Looking ahead to Barcelona's upcoming matches, Laporta said, "We're heading into an important week, starting with Sevilla, a crucial match for the league standings. Then comes the match against Bayern, a much-anticipated Champions League clash. Finally there's the challenge of traveling to the Bernabeu in what promises to be a fiery derby. I hope that tonight we will have the opportunity to further widen the gap between us and our opponents and lay a solid foundation for the rest of the campaign."
