In the 7th round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich beat Stuttgart 4-0 at home, in which Harry Kane scored a hat-trick and became the key man of the team's victory. After the match, Kane flirted with the idea that he felt some of his teammates were tired of signing the match ball as a souvenir.
Kane scored three goals against Stuttgart this campaign, making it seven hat-tricks in 54 career Bayern appearances, including three this season. It is customary for Kane to get his teammates to sign the match ball as a souvenir, but he teased after the game, "I think some of my teammates are sick of signing. But I'll try to keep them signing."
Speaking about the game, Kane said, "I think we've played well in our last couple of games but the results haven't been as good as we would have liked. After the first goal today, the game opened up and we took it to another level, Stuttgart couldn't keep up with us. It was an important home game and we wanted to win and give our fans a great performance. We ended up winning 4-0, but I think it could have been 6-0 or 7-0."
On his recent three-game drought, Kane admitted: "As a striker, there are times when you score every goal you come across. But when you don't score, it always leads to a lot of discussion and that's life as a striker. I always believe in myself and my teammates. I am very happy to have scored today."
