In a La Liga match, Celta lost to Real Madrid 1-2 at home. After the match, Celta midfielder Beltran was interviewed by the media, sharing his feelings and views on the match.

Beltran began by expressing his regret over the result: "I do feel a bit bitter after this game. Because we were almost even with Real Madrid in the game, and even in many phases we played better. We created a lot of chances, but in the end we conceded two crucial goals because of our own mistakes. Even though we had more chances than Real Madrid, we didn't capitalize on them, which is a real shame."

Speaking about the chances to come close to the equalizer, Beltran said, "We actually came very close to scoring the equalizer. The team stuck to their style of play and created a lot of threatening chances. I know that with Real Madrid as the opponent, people will always feel that they are more threatening, but judging by the content of the game, we were more aggressive and had more chances. We should look at this game as three points lost, which gives us motivation to keep improving. Nonetheless, I still think it was a great game that we played."

On his personal fumble at 0-1, Beltran was candid: "That fumble made me cringe. I was trying to recreate a pass from early in the game because Bamba was in a nice open spot. I took a risk for the sake of the offense, but sometimes things don't always go according to plan in a game. I should have controlled the ball myself and passed it to a teammate on the other side, but that's soccer and sometimes mistakes are made. And today we made two mistakes and as a result we conceded two goals. Even so, we still had a chance to win this game, and I believe this game should have been ours to win. But anyway, at least we showed great competitiveness."
