On December 9, FIFA released the latest edition of the FIFA Women's National Team Rankings, also for the end of the 2022 year. Compared with the previous rankings, the Chinese women's soccer team's points remained unchanged, rising to 14th in the world rankings and remaining 4th in Asia.

China Women's Soccer World Ranking 14th

The FIFA women's soccer rankings, unlike men's soccer, are announced only four times a year. According to the FIFA program, the FIFA national women's soccer team rankings were announced this year on March 25th, June 17th, August 5th and December 9th. In addition, it is on the basis of the group draw for the final stage of the 9th Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.FIFA Phase I rankings were added on October 13th.

The last FIFA Women's Football Ranking was released on October 13, when China's women's football team scored 1,862.87 points and ranked 15th in the world in Asia. The Chinese women's soccer team was ranked fourth in North Korea, Japan and Australia. In the past scoring cycle, the Chinese women's soccer team did not have any international A-level matches, so the latest edition of FIFA China Women's Soccer Ranking stays at 1,862.87 points, with a 1-place rise in the world ranking and no change in the Asian ranking.

The Asian rankings 1-10 are: North Korea, Japan, Australia, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Taipei, Thailand, Myanmar and Uzbekistan. Among them, North Korea is the only Asian team in the world's top 10, and the top five teams in Asia are all in the world's top 20. Associations ranked 11-20 are: Philippines, India, Iran, Jordan, Hong Kong, Laos, Bahrain, Malaysia, Guam and Indonesia.
