In an interview with Wave Talk on Nov. 30, Shen Monroe, who stayed with Celtic Women's Soccer, described her feelings about watching the World Cup.

Shen Monroe said, "We would watch the game in the small living room of the dormitory. We would get excited and yell. It didn't seem any different from regular fans, but we would pay more attention to players at the same position and then learn from them."

"I prefer Messi, Dybala, Crowe, Neymar because they are all world class attackers. When I was a kid I still liked Messi's style of play and his dribbling. Then I went and watched a lot of his great highlights, but I also watched Ronaldo's games because of his mental attributes and leadership role. They have been at the top level for the last 20 years and have won numerous trophies so they are my favorite players. This could be their last World Cup and they'll be slowly retiring from the international scene, so I'm paying more attention to them."

"A couple of Asian teams looked like they were having a lot of fun beating the strongest teams in Europe and the United States. The higher the suspense, the better the performance, I think."

"In fact, I'm more in favor of Argentina, Portugal and Brazil, and I think they all have the potential to win the title."

"There's been a lot of buzz lately about the little prince of Qatar's stunt, and I thought it was pretty funny."
