According to Picture Post, Borussia Dortmund have bid €100 million for their talented winger Gittens and Liverpool are keeping a close eye on the player.
Liverpool are reportedly on the lookout for Salah's replacement and Gittens is just the man they have in mind. However, it won't be easy to bring in the young striker as Borussia Dortmund have set a hefty transfer fee for him. Last year, Dortmund's sporting director Kyle has extended Gittens' contract until 2028 ahead of schedule, showing how highly valued and expected he is.
Although Gittens' derby price is currently just €35 million, Borussia Dortmund are clearly confident in his potential, hence the €100 million bid. It's certainly a lot of money for Liverpool to spend, but they may be tempted to overbid in order to get their hands on the potential starlet.
