In Barcelona's 5-1 victory over Sevilla, Garvey came back from injury to play as a substitute and contributed to the team's victory. After the game, Gavi was interviewed and expressed his joy and gratitude for returning to the field.

It was a very happy day for me and I had many such dreams," said Garvey. I feel incredibly happy and satisfied to be on the pitch again. The game went well and I was able to come on and play a little bit, which was enough for me. I am very proud of our fans and their support, their encouragement is what keeps me going."

Speaking about his injury recovery process, Garvey said, "The time recovery period is long at first, but you get used to it and know that it will be a long process. During this process you have to enjoy every moment and appreciate everything. I'm very grateful to the whole team who have given me so much support. Without their help, I couldn't have gotten back on the field so quickly. I would also like to thank all the fans who have supported me all these months, soccer is my life and what I will miss the most."

Garvey also talked about how he felt when he couldn't play: "The worst thing was not being able to play with the team. Watching the team play from the sidelines is very difficult; I can't be a part of it personally and can only cheer for them silently. That feeling of powerlessness makes me appreciate the opportunity to play even more now, and I'll make the most of every moment."

Speaking about Pedri giving him the captain's armband, Garvey said, "I didn't expect Pedri to give me the captain's armband, which is an honor for me. It has always been my dream to wear the Barcelona captain's armband and I will continue to work hard and contribute to the team."
