In a match of the 8th round of the English Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham United 4-1 at home, and South Korean striker Son scored a goal in the match to contribute to the team's victory. After the match, Son was interviewed by TNT Sports, sharing his joy of returning to the pitch and his thoughts on the match.

Sun said, "It's a joy to be back on the pitch and playing on a beautiful pitch with my teammates is one of my favorite things. Especially when you get a good result, the joy is beyond words." Regarding the team's conceding a goal early in the game, Sun revealed that head coach Postecoglou was not happy about it and asked his players to guard the goal as if they were guarding their home. However, Sun was very happy with the team's overall performance.

Speaking about his goal, Son said, "When I get the ball, I try to find the best solution. In one-on-one situations, I'm very involved and enjoy being in that situation the most. Scoring goals is a natural reaction for me and a way for me to contribute to the team."

Son also spoke about the support of the fans: "The support of these fans is incredible, I haven't felt this kind of support for three weeks. And, since I wasn't selected for the national team, I had more time to prepare for this game. It's a huge honor to play in front of these fans and I want to give back to them with goals and wins."

For Sunseri, who missed a couple of games due to injury, the time off also allowed him to think and prepare more. "Sometimes it can be good to take some time off because of an injury," said Sun, "We've had a busy time and those two or three weeks were the perfect time for me to recharge my batteries. Today I felt really, really good, both physically and mentally."

Finally, Son talked about what it was like to play under Postecoglou: "Playing under the guidance of Coach Postecoglou was very watchable, but there was also a lot of pressure. As wingers, we are expected to create chances and score goals. I think it's a lot of fun and a lot of pressure, but that's where we should be. We will continue to work hard to bring more wins to the team."
