On the eve of Wolves' crucial match against Manchester City, team manager Gary O'Neill confirmed the unfortunate news that South Korean striker Hwang Hee-chan will miss the next few weeks due to an ankle injury. This news will undoubtedly pose a challenge to Wolves' lineup and tactical arrangement.

Hwang Hee-chan was forced to leave last Thursday's match between South Korea and Jordan due to injury after only 23 minutes of play. After an examination, Gary O'Neill revealed the exact nature of Hwang Hee-chan's injury, "He's injured the ligaments on the inside of his ankle, and from the looks of things, it could take a couple of weeks to recover, but fortunately it's not a long-term injury."

Hwang Hee Chan was one of the key scorers for Wolves last season as he contributed 13 goals for the team. However, he is yet to score for Wolves this season and his form does not seem to be at its best. In response, Gary O'Neill said, "I think this injury is an opportunity for him as well. This time last year he was in great form and was sharp. But since he left to go to the Asian Cup last season and came back and suffered a couple of injuries, he's never really got back to his old form."

"Obviously, he needs rest and time to recover from the ankle injury. But in the meantime, he's going to have to work on getting back to form and getting quicker and sharper so that he can continue to have a positive impact on the team like he did last season when he comes back from injury." Gary O'Neill added.
