Griezmann joins global cover star Lionel Messi on the cover of the French edition of soccer game FIFA 16, following a public online vote. He is also the first Frenchman to grace the cover of the game since Benzema in 2013.
Griezmann has been dating Erika Choperena since 2011 and their first child was born on April 8, 2016 as a daughter named Mia (Mia Griezmann.) On June 15, 2017, Griezmann and Erika tied the knot in Spain. The couple has three children, and interestingly, all three of Griezmann's children were born on April 8, including daughter Mia, born in 2016, son Amaro Griezmann, born in 2019, and daughter Alba Griezmann, born in 2021.
Griezmann's sister Maud was one of the survivors of the November 2015 Paris attacks at the Bataclan theater while playing an international friendly against Germany at the Stade de France.
Griezmann is very fond of basketball and often pays attention to NBA matches. His favorite player is Derek Ruth, and he has made it public many times that he likes to watch Ruth's matches very much.
