November 6 - The recent issue of Hebei's salary arrears continues to fester, with a number of people currently playing for Hebei, before Hebei players publicly complained about the team's unpaid salary practices. Geng Xiaofeng expressed his views while retweeting Ding Haifeng and Ren Wei's tweets.
Regarding Hebei's unpaid wages, Geng Xiaofeng posted: "Do not open a natural gap of not paying debts. This is an issue that goes beyond soccer. There isn't a single player who doesn't want to play soccer. Save the Hebei team, save Chinese soccer, and help the workers who don't pay their debts."
Geng Xiaofeng joined Hebei in 2017. With the exception of the 2020 season, when he was loaned to Chinese First Division side Hohhot, Geng was a member of Hebei's squad for three seasons until he officially left the team for Wuhan Sanzhen in 2021. Geng Xiaofeng is playing for Chengdu Chengdu this season, but his dispute with Hebei over unpaid wages continues to this day.
