What about your daily diet?
I eat healthier on my own with lots of fruits, meats, and carbs, I don't drink juices or carbonated drinks, only water and sports drinks, and the first thing I do when I wake up every day is drink a glass of lemonade. Other than that, I don't eat fast food or fried stuff.
Which soccer experience has helped you grow the most?
The 6 years I spent in the United States, that was the most important time for me, from the age of 8 to 15, I was playing in Hong Kong, China, and at that time, I thought that soccer was too easy, there were no competitions, and I told my family about the situation, and they said that if you really want to be a working player, you have to go out and see what's going on. When I came to the United States, my horizons opened up, the level was really high, I wasn't that "special" player anymore, and I realized that I had to work harder and improve myself in order to become a working player.

It's the best player in the world, it's hard for me to compare myself to him, and it's not realistic to mix them up, but of course, if someone labels me that way, it's someone else's opinion, I don't think about it that much myself.
Do you practice Mandarin every day?
I would like to improve and speak Mandarin among my coaches and teammates, but it's not very easy to speak Mandarin and I'm working on it.

How does it feel to have scored your first goal for Hong Kong against Iran?
That goal, which is by far my favorite, was my first for Hong Kong and against Iran, who are probably one of the best teams in Asia, and it was a goal that meant a lot.

I think it's very exciting for us as players to be able to make history. When the time comes, we will give our best performance. The outside world may not be very optimistic about us, but we can let go of the pressure and enjoy the game, this is our attitude.
