Granada goalkeeper Luca Zidane was once again candid about his deep love for Ligue 1 side Marseille in a recent interview and revealed in no uncertain terms that joining Marseille is his ultimate dream.

Luca Zidane has stated that the desire to join Marseille did not come overnight, as he had openly talked about his dream of playing for the team he loves so much as early as last season. Not only that, he also revealed that he had the opportunity to join Ligue 1 a few years back, but unfortunately could not make it at that time. He then chose to join Spanish side Haval, where he had a couple of relatively smooth seasons.

Despite currently playing as a goalkeeper for Granada, Luca Zidane's heart has always been towards Marseille. I really want to play in Ligue 1, it's my favorite top league," he said fondly. Marseille is my home team and my dream has always been to play for Marseille. Although maybe that day hasn't come yet, why not in the future?"

However, Luca Zidane's career with Granada has not been a smooth one. He has only made two appearances for the team so far this season and the team has been scored three goals in those two games. At the beginning of the season, he was given two starts, but after an injury, he has lost his starting position to Marinho, who is currently the team's starting goalkeeper.

Despite this, Luca Zidane remains optimistic about the future. He firmly believes that his dream is not out of reach, and that he will do his best to realize it as long as he has the opportunity to do so. As for his current predicament, he also said he will continue to train hard to improve his strength and wait for his own opportunity to come.
