Suspension of the Premier League and preparations for the national team

On October 11, Beiqing Sports reported that with the 22nd round of the tournament coming to an end on October 9, this season's Chinese Super League will be suspended for about two weeks due to objective factors and is scheduled to resume on the 25th of this month.

It has been reported that the postponed Super League will restart with the 19th round of fixtures, with subsequent rounds being postponed in that order. The remaining 14 rounds of the season will be completed by the end of December, with a round of AFC Cup matches interspersed throughout.

After the 2003 age group U19 national football team and the 2006 age group U17 national football team reached the final rounds of the U20 Asian Cup and the U17 Asian Cup, the lineups of the two teams were able to remain intact. With the final rounds of both tournaments scheduled for the first half of next year, preparations for the upcoming tournaments are imminent. However, as the Chinese Super League will end at the end of this year at the earliest, and the AFC Cup may even continue into next year, the new phase of preparation for the national team may be delayed until the beginning of next year at the earliest.
