NEWSFLASH - In the early hours of September 30th in Beijing, a beacon of soccer is quietly igniting. The sports newspaper has disclosed that the Japanese Football Association is actively planning to integrate the Japanese national team into the UEFA's fierce battles in order to broaden the frequency of fighting with European teams for the 2026 World Cup.

It is reported that, due to the Japanese national team's main players in the European league, most of the players in the Asian tournament, the players had to cross the ocean, traveling between Europe and Asia. This frequent cross-country migration, so that the Japanese team in the strength of the situation should be dominant, but frequent cold loss. In view of this, the Japanese Football Association believes that by participating in European tournaments, not only can reduce the players' travel hard work, but also a more realistic test of the team's overall strength.

It is worth mentioning that the JFA also plans to set up a training camp in Dusseldorf, Germany, aiming to make it easier to have in-depth exchanges with those international players who are playing in Europe, as well as European teams.

Since UEFA created the UEFA Nations League in 2018, Japan has rarely played a European team during the competition. It is worth noting that since then, Japan has only achieved a win against a European team in January 2021, when they defeated Serbia with a 1-0 record.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Asian teams have tried to integrate into the European tournament system. Qatar, the hosts of the 2022 World Cup, for example, have participated in European qualifiers, accumulating valuable competition experience, while Japan was also invited to compete in the America's Cup in 2019.
