The draw for the qualifiers. After the draw, our team was placed in Group G together with Australia, Cambodia and Northern Mariana Islands, with Australia taking a place as the hosts. After the results of the draw were announced, the fixtures for the U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers were also announced.
Today, the AFC officially confirmed the final schedule for the U17 Asian Cup qualifiers. The 2006 National Junior Team, coached by Yang Chen, will play in Group G. They will face Cambodia on October 5 at 13:00, then the Northern Mariana Islands on October 7 at 13:00, and the group finale against hosts Australia on October 9 at 13:00, with all matches taking place at Australia's Shepperton Sports City.

The relinquishment of the hosting credentials fell through. As of now, AFC has yet to determine the final host. Just yesterday, the U17 Asian Cup qualifying tournament had another bad news: Timor-Leste withdrew from the tournament! According to the original grouping, Timor-Leste was in Group H with Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Mongolia, resulting in only three teams remaining in Group H. The team was not allowed to participate in the U17 Asian Cup Qualifying Tournament.
According to the schedule, the 20th U17 Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers will be played from October 1-9, with the first place finishers of the 10 groups and the best second place finishers of the six groups to be
advancement
Main Event. When comparing the second place finishers in each group, the second place finishers in the ABCD group will not be counted against the 4th and 5th place finishers in the same group, while the second place finishers in the other six groups will not be counted against the 4th place finishers in the same group. Next year, from May 3 to 20, the 16 promoted teams will compete in the final stage.
