At 19:30 on September 29th, a much-anticipated bye match between Dalian People and Shanghai Shenhua in the 18th round of the 2022 Chinese Super League was held at the Puwan Stadium in Dalian. The result of the match was surprising, Dalian People suffered a 1-2 reversal.
The suspense of the match started in the 9th minute when Zhang Lu's shot hit the post and nearly broke the deadlock. However, the real turnaround came in the 59th minute when Dong Yanfeng, assisted by Lin Liangming, lifted a shot from outside the area to give Dalian the first goal.
But the drama didn't end there. In the second half, the situation changed dramatically. In the 88th minute, substitute Zhu Jianrong received a pass from Qian Jie on the left side of the penalty area and pushed a shot into the goal to equalize the score. Immediately after, in the 90th minute, Basogo right road pass, the ball in the air after a curve, Zhu Jianrong in the penalty area to grab a header, complete the second degree, to help Shenhua 2-1 reverse, and ultimately realize the reversal.
