CSL 17th round bye: Dalian Ren 2-2 Beijing Guoan, Tesonev delivers world wave
In the just-concluded bye match of the 17th round of the Chinese Super League, Dalian Ren and Beijing Guoan drew 2-2. Tesonev opened the first record for Dalian Ren with a stunning world wave, and the Bulgarian international was in hot form after scoring in four consecutive matches after joining Dalian Ren in the summer window.
Born on April 29, 1995, Tesonev plays as an attacking midfielder. Last season, 2021/22, he played 23 matches for Bulgaria's Sofia Slavia, scoring six goals. In addition, he appeared for the Bulgarian national team in the Euro qualifiers as well as in international friendlies in March this year, wearing the number 10 jersey.
Tesonev joined Dalian Ren and quickly integrated into the team, appearing in four games and delivering 13 shots, six of which were on target, and managed to score four goals.
About the match, Tesonev said, "We feel in pretty good shape, but there were some small regrets in the match, because we could have won the match."
Talking about the team's overall performance, Tesonev was confident: "Although we are a newly formed team with many new players just joining, our overall performance was outstanding."
