China Women's Football Team's Overseas Training Summary and Prospects
Special correspondent Lin Shuang reported that it has been nearly a week since the Chinese women's soccer team returned home after a month of overseas training. Head coach Shui Qingxia spoke highly of the training, saying that the players have improved their skills and abilities significantly. She emphasized that players staying overseas is also an important way to improve the level of the national team, and high-intensity training and staying overseas in parallel will help the Chinese women's football team to improve the fighting force in a short period of time.
After the end of the East Asia Cup, the Chinese women's soccer team did not return home, but flew directly to the United States for training. In this training, Yang Shuhui, Tu Linli and Zhao Yujie, who did not participate in the East Asian Cup, met the team in San Francisco.
Shui Qingxia's goal for this training is clear, aiming to improve the team's ability to utilize technology and tactics in high confrontation through the game. She observed that the European women's soccer team is gradually developing into a men's team, and the intensity and speed of the confrontation are increasing, so the training in the United States is aimed at letting the players adapt to the high-intensity confrontation in advance.
In this training program, the Chinese women's soccer team played 11 games, with a record of 3 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses. Although the results were not ideal, it was significant for the players' exercise and improvement.
Shui Qingxia said that the players gradually improved their form in the game, and their cooperation and passing and receiving became more and more tacit understanding. In this practice, they faced opponents with different styles, even including the boys' youth soccer team, which helped improve the team's overall strength.
In this practice, Shui Qingxia not only examined the domestic newcomers, but also gave opportunities to the overseas players. She hoped that they could familiarize themselves with the national team's technical and tactical playing style as soon as possible and continue to improve in the game.
In addition, Shui Qingxia expressed her support for the players to stay in the ocean, which helps them to broaden their horizons and improve their personal abilities. At present, the Chinese women's football team has nine players to stay in the ocean, the Football Association and related organizations are also actively operating more players to stay in the ocean.
However, the players need to recognize the fact that, with the exception of Wang Frost of the U.S. Women's Major League Soccer, the other stay-at-home players are in leagues and teams of varying levels. They need to work through their own efforts and get fully practiced in the game.
