On September 11th, the North West England Football Association (NWEFA) officially kicked off its annual awards for the region's top soccer tournaments and outstanding players. The awards cover the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two, as well as the non-professional National League, and also include the top women's Premier League players, as well as the most promising men's and women's soccer stars, totaling eight awards.
Among the many candidates, the competition for the throne of Premier League Player of the Year was particularly fierce.
