I would like to dedicate that goal to my good friend Chen Zhechao, although the moment I returned to the locker room, I didn't really feel joy in my heart, because the worry about recovery from the injury always lingered in my mind.
What are your expectations for your career?
My goal is to score more goals and have more assists as a way to give back to the club and give my best to Mr. Cao and Coach Milan for their trust!
Looking back on your soccer career as a teenager, what kind of dreams did you have?
I don't consider myself to have been a top player in the National Junior Team, I was surrounded by many players of my age who were my role models. I always try to work hard and look up to those who are better than me in order to keep improving. As for my dream, it is undoubtedly to play for the national team.
Who are your idols?
Among international players, I especially admire Crowe, while at home, I have a lot of respect for Artemisia Junmin. Nowadays, Yin Hongbo (Bo) has also become my object of study. From them, I can learn countless valuable lessons. I want to learn to find the sparkling points in them and set new goals for myself.
During his time in Shandong, Artemis was known for his self-discipline, as he would do strength training and ice packs on his own. Now, in the Hakka team, Bo maintains the same self-discipline, doing ice packs, pulling and strength training every day. As a young player, I should learn this spirit from them.
You've been a regular in the national junior team but have been selected for the U22 national team infrequently - have you thought about playing in the Chinese Super League to earn yourself a place in the Asian Games?
Every player aspires to be in the national team and to win honors for his country, and so do I. At this stage, I think the most important thing is to do well. At this stage, I think the most important thing is to do well, play hard and contribute more to the team, and the rest will follow.
