Powerhouse Shenzhen made a sudden statement that head coach Lee Jang-soo left his post. The Korean media is highly concerned about this, pointing out that Lee Jang-soo had no choice but to resign after less than half a year in charge of Shenzhen due to five consecutive defeats.

Li Zhangsu, aged 66, was reportedly the head coach of Shenzhen. He was in charge of the team for more than seven months and eventually stepped down due to poor performance. On September 1, Shenzhen officially announced that Li Zhangsu would no longer be in charge of the head coaching position, and that former Chinese national men's soccer midfielder Zhang Xiaorui would take his place.

It is worth mentioning that Li Zhangsu's departure was mainly due to the team's poor performance. The Shenzhen team had a record of 5 wins, 1 draw and 9 losses during Li's tenure, accumulating 16 points and ranking only 13th out of 18 teams in the Chinese Super League, losing five consecutive matches since August, scoring 3 goals and conceding 18.

Lee Jang-soo is known as the "Light of Chongqing" and one of the most successful Korean coaches in Chinese soccer history. He has been coaching Lifan since 1998, and has since coached the likes of Qingdao Belet, Beijing
