Vijenjevic and Lupuscu didn't give up in the third round as they mounted a thrilling comeback. The two pairs were tied on the scorecards and traded the lead. Once the score reached 10-all, Vijenjevic & Lupescu seized the turning point and managed to equalize the set at 12-10.
In the fourth round, Nichaelyn and Nat rediscovered their athleticism and stepped up their offense in the first three games. Although Nichaelyn did not have the upper hand in terms of movement, she was technically delicate and handled the ball with precision, constantly forcing her opponent to make mistakes. In the end, Nichaelyn and Nath locked up an 11-8 win, defeating their opponents with a 3-1 record and advancing to the last eight.
In the other women's doubles match, Winter & Mietheim managed to advance to the last eight after beating their teammates with a perfect 3-0 record. In a close intra-Swedish clash, Carlberg & Bergström won 3-1, while multinational duo Polkanova & Saukos beat their Polish opponents 3-0 to also advance to the last eight.
