Clarence Seedorf has written his own legacy of excellence in soccer history, taking over the coaching reins at AC Milan in January 2014 on a temporary basis but announcing he was stepping down only in June. Then, in July 2016, Seedorf joined Chinese League One side Shenzhen Jiazhaoye, becoming the third Serie A star to take charge of China's second-tier league after Cannavaro and Ferrara.
