In Utrecht, Holland, a soccer genius was born. Van Basten, who spent his youth in the Ajax youth ranks, scored his first goal in the Dutch Eredivisie in 1982. Ajax regarded him as the core of their offense, and between 1982 and 1985, he scored 59 goals in the league, helping the team win the Dutch League Championship three times, and the Dutch Cup in 1983, achieving the Double Crown. from 1984 to 1987, he was the league's top scorer for four consecutive years, creating a miracle in the history of soccer.
