Robben: The glitter and ups and downs of a national team career

In the 2004 European Championships, Robben saved the day in a life-and-death match with the Czech Republic, with two assists to help the Netherlands advance to the last eight. In the final four of the tournament, he scored a crucial goal to give the Netherlands a narrow victory over Sweden on penalties, and the road to promotion was full of difficulties.

In the 2006 World Cup, Robben, Van Nie and Van Persie formed a front three that made the opponents scared.
