It was on the green fields of Osijek that Davor Suk's soccer journey set sail. It was in 1984 when he made his debut, and in 1989 he embarked on a transfer to join Dinamo Zagreb. A star-studded Yugoslavian league campaign saw him make his national team debut in 1990, and the following year, in the quiet years leading up to the civil war, Suker shot to stardom, with his first goal at international level seeing him rise to prominence. In 1991, Suk moved to Spain, Sevilla's journey, he ushered in a turning point in his career. 1992, Croatia's independence, Suk then became a national footballer, La Liga's top scorer's honors, he scored three goals at the 1996 Euro, not only injected Croatia with a strong agent, but also made Suk among the best lineup of UEFA.

He then joined Real Madrid, where he won the La Liga title and the European Champions Cup, and the 1998 World Cup, where he won the Golden Boot with six goals, and although he failed to win the group stage against Argentina, he scored in each of the remaining six matches. In the third-place match, Suk helped Croatia to a historic bronze medal. In 1999, Suker moved to Arsenal of the English Premier League, but his form declined, and his penalty defeat in the 2000 UEFA Cup final became a career disappointment. A year later, he moved to West Ham United and 1860 Munich until 2003, when Suker's soccer career came to an end.
